Filled region hatch - how to import to another project?

How a filled region pattern from one project is imported to another project?

Thanks in advance.

What do you mean exactly?

If you are using the same template file then you should have the same patterns available in each file. You will just have to make a new filled region type and change the pattern.

You could use the Copy paste option, works very well

You could Transfer project standards. Have both projects open, in the project that you want the pattern, go to "Manage" tab > "Transfer project standards" > uncheck all and tick only "fill patterns" or "filled region types"

Or if it is on 2 seperate computers, it could be a custom .PAT file. In which case, you will need to copy the .PAT file from the origonal computers directory and paste it into your Revit pattern files folder.

Any of theese ways will work.

Keep in mind there are 2 different types of patterns... "Model" and "Drafting" (Drafting patterns will change size with the view scale, Model patterns are "real life" sizes, used to display brickwork or stonework for example)

See attached image

Hope this helps
