This is a problem I reported about 2 weeks ago where our company lost
roughly a weeks worth of work because of this problem. I believe there has
been a patch released to fix the problem. It only occurs if you save back to
a central server as far as i know.

We are having a problem with a file when we try to save back to the central
file. At first we would get a message that said "Windows was unable to
save all the data for file X.rvt." We thought it was a hardware problem /
network connection, but today we got an error message that states "unable to
access Central file because it is pasts its end", and then the file became
corrupt. Luckily we have other copies of the file and only lost a couple
hours of work, but we don't know how to stop it from happening again. We
are using 9.1 and are on Windows 2000.
