Elevation Tag in True North vs. Project North

I am having issues with elevation tags in project north vs. true north.  Please see attachment for details.

The tag will rotate the text per the views settings (project north vs. true north).

So it will desplay correctly in one view but not the other.

Has anyone seen this before, if so, what did you do to fix it?

Looks like it might be the “Keep Readable” or “Fixed Rotation” parameters.  In your elevation tag family, select the applicable Label > Properties Palette > Keep Readable or Fixed Rotation.

Toggling these should give you different text rotation results; I would test the opposite and see if the tags update.

Thanks for the reply however i tried all of those items on your list before submitting.  I really think i have tried everything in book and out of the book for this one..  Any other ideas?
