Elements missing when opening a Revit 2014 project with Revit 2015

I decided to give Revit 2015 a try to see if it's a worthwhile upgrade. I'd last saved my project in a roof plan view. When I opened the project in Revit 2015, it was still in that view, but there were only a few lines visiple. I checked hidden elements, to see if somehow they'd been turned off in the transition but had no luck there. It's almost as if the particular plan has been corrupted somehow.

I did have the view alread loaded onto a SHeet. When opening the SHeet with that view on it, the view shows up just fine. This tells me the elements are still there, but they simply won't show up on that view anymore for some reason. If I duplicate the view, my model shows up fine on the new duplicate view, but the dimensions don't show up.

Is this a known bug? Am I doing something wrong when opening up the 2014 Project?

Also, the project was "upgraded" so now I can't even open it in Revit 2014 anymore...

I'm not sure whats causing your view problem, but i had to respond to this line.  Did you SAVE the file that was upgraded to 2015?  If you simply open a file in 2015, let it upgrade, and then don't SAVE, you can still open it in the previous version.

Additionally, if you did save it, you can always go to the backup files.  the most recent backup will be in the older version.  So yes, you can still open it in the 2014 version.

Thanks Davis! Unfortunately,I had already saved it in 2015. But the tip about the backup file was perfect so I was able to retrieve and save a 2014 version.

Regarding the view issue,I was able to solve it by zooming out and then selecting the View Extents in the navigation wheel. Not sure what was going in, but it happens with every project I open. At least I know how to reset it.

So if I have a file saved in Revit 2015, I can´t open it on Revti 2014?

Exactly, Revit is not downward compatible unfortunately!
