EQ dims with a gap?

Is there a way to set two dimensions "EQ",
if they don't share a dimension line,
separated by a "non-EQ" dim?

example:

| EQ | 2'-0" | EQ |

I'd like each EQ bookend to remain equal,
and make the center 2'-0" dim locked.

No. You'll have to assign those two dimensions to the same parameter, then
lock the center dimension.

yeah, I figured....
but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

I just hate littering my instance/type properties with a bunch of
"constraint" params,
that the end-User really doesn't need to see, or be bothered with.
My more complex families tend to rack up a lot of these.

I know that you can collapse, and thus hide a category of params,
but RVT doesn’t remember this action for the next time you fire-up
properties,
so you have to do it every time, which means you won't.
I wish you could hide certain params from view...

It would be nice to flag a parameter as "not visible" if it's not one that
the user intended to monkey with.
