“Drag wall end” to the edge of the wall (indicated),

“Drag wall end” to the edge of the wall (indicated),

In the attached screenshot, I wanted to drag the end of the temporary dimension from its location to the end edge of the wall but sounds not to respond!

What might be the issue here?

How this temporary dimension can be dragged to the edge of the wall?

Thank you

Hi,

To control temporary dimensions you need the to move the grip on the middle of the extension legs which does not appear in your case.

The default behaviour can be changed from the manage>additional settings>temporary dimensions.

However, in your case, I don't think you can do anything about it, just make it permanent, use it, delete it once your done.

a sort of trick exist ...

Right click on the Drag Wall Point  from left side of the wall > Disalow Join.

Drag the point to align with the other wall face

Now the temporay dimension will show as you want...

then you must click on the small symbol nearby the end point to reactivate allow join...strech.. and at last you will have again the corect join...

It seems to be to much work for doing this....
