Distance Input

I am use to AUTOCAD Architecture where default input distance is in inches. For exapmple, if I wanted to move a wall 6 inches I would input 6 enter and the wall will move 6 inches. It seems Revit defaults to feet. Can this be changed?

Thanks,

Marc5

Type UN (for units), and specify your preference of inches for Length.

Thanks, that did it.

The "UN" works just fine; however, when I do dims, the dims are in inches, too. Is there another setting so manually inputted distances can be done in inches and dims would remain in feet and inches?

Thanks,

Marc

In that case, edit the type properties of the dimension, set the "Units Format" parameter with units that are different from the project's units.
