Disassociating level lines from model elements

During evaluating different design options the highest point of the roof ended up higher than the initial roof level line. If I try to move the level line to the top of the roof, the whole roof moves with it. Is it possible to disassociate (temporarily) a roof level line from the roof itself in order to move it to the top of the roof and then associate it with the roof again.

I would like to avoid creating a new level line (at the correct elevation) and delete the old, in which case the roof is no longer associated with the new level line.

Just move the roof down, after you move the level up.
