Dimensioning Face of Core Not Working

Hello,

When I am dimensioning in Revit Architecture 2012 and using face of core as the option, it still lets me chose a wall face - why is this?  Can it be fixed?  Has anyone else had this problem?  It kind of defeats the purpose of the option!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Megan,

When you place your Dims, you can TAB and "Cylcle" thru the faces on the wall to get to the core face you desire just prior to 'picking the wall(s).  That you give you what you're looking for.

Thanks for the reply Mike.  And yes, I know that you can tab through - but to me, that seems to defeat the purpose of having the options to begin with if Revit doesn't automatically stick to it.  I guess it goes on the wishlist!  Thanks again.
