Dim Style

I have dimensions on a view and I want the witness lines to be thin. The weight is set at 1, I have changed the weight of '1' in an 1/8" view to .0013". Everythihng else in the view that is set to '1' is very thin and crisp, these settings do not seem to affect the dims. Any suggestions?

You can either change the scale of the view, or set the view to use thin lines. (display only they will still print thick.)

But why do the conduits reflect the desired size but not the dims?

Dimensions are annotation elements so the view scale affects the size the element is displayed.  It looks to me you have a leage scale applied to the view and it is affecting the relative size of the dimensions.
