Difference between "In-Place" Generic Component and Generic Model Family?

Hi Everyone,

This should be pretty simple, but I can't seem to figure out why if I model a component "In-Place" I have the option to make it a "floor" in the "Family Category and Parameters" menu (screen shot I), but if I try to do the same thing in the "Generic Model" family template, floors are not on the list of availble family categories (screen shot II). Am I missing something or is this just not allowed? Is there anyway to convert a "Generic Model" family into a "Floor" within a project file?

1. in the first example is an In Place version of a System Family ( floor , in your case)
2. in the second one is a Loadable Family  ...

The Walls,floors,roofs are all System Families and can not be editable outside the Project ( like Loadable Families as Doors, Windows...etc that are usualy hosted into System Families.)
