Default copy when mirroring

Is there a way to disable the default copy option for the mirror command?

Yes. Its on the Options bar immediately below the ribbon.

Yeah, I know you can uncheck it, but I want to know if there's a way to have it not checked by default.

Ah, sorry, see what you mean.

I checked the INI, nothing you can do with the UI system file, nothing editable in keyboard shortcuts. Only way is probably with a c# / vb.net macro unfortunately.

It is annoying though!

hold down ctrl to toggle between checked and unchecked,

But also toggling can get annoying, unfortunately there is no option to leave it unchecked. Hopefully they incorporate it in Revit 2020.
