Hi,

Is it possible to add a 'variable' or label to our title block so that when we send a file to the printer, it will pickup the current time and date?

I know how to edit a label but I want this to happen automatically.

thanks

Title Block families contain a default parameter called:

Date/Time Stamp

When you print it should automatically display the date and time of the print in this label.

Thank you,

When are we going to have a Date only stamp, without the time portion?  The time is not required for most plot stamps that we would use.  I know this is something that has been a user wish list item for at least the last 8 years now.  It's about time you add in some of these user requested "features".

And 15 years... still waiting for Plot Date without Time! This is one of those items that should take someone at Autodesk 15 minutes to add, but instead, user's have been cobbling together work-rounds for 15 years. They don't even need to make a dialog for selecting the date format, just make parameters for "print day", "print month", and "print year" which can be combined in the already existing "edit label" dialog. The "print year" parameter would additionally be handy for maintaining copyright statements.
