DIsplace Elements for Families....

Do tell me if I'm blind, but I'm looking for a good way of exploding a family diagramitcally in a 3D view and couldn't help but notice that the "Displace Element" tool is really just for in-project-by-element use.  Anyone have any insight on a solid way of doing this or if "Displace Element" is just hiding some where in the family interface?

Thanks,

nick

It is not available in the family editor, but in projects, yes. If you want to apply the displacement to pieces of families, the pieces need to be individual elements, or shared nested families.

Agreed, shared nested family is the right solution.
