Custom Cladding Panel

Is it possible to create a custom Cladding Panel in Revit Architecture, whereby the panel shows elements of both solid extrusion and void extrusions?

Yes you could create this as a wall based or in-place component family.  Another alternative would be to use a curtain wall.  I have included some resources below:

Hello everyone,

I take the topic to ask you for help on creating curtain wall with gable.
My example is in the attached file revit.

I would like to create a pinion on my curtain wall and a hangar door panels which cuts 2 and a half panel.

Somebody can help me solve this problem please?

Thanks,

You can use Edit Profile and change the shape of the curtainwall to make the gable. Highlight/select the edge of the curtainwall and Edit Profile.

You have created a Panel family without making it parametric using profie family, hence any changes applied , it loses its relation & doesn't fit forcing panels to get deleted. Instead if you choose a mullion family of the shape shown in plan with solid panels, matching the sizes, offsets, spacing etc it gives the same result & you can also attach to your roof to get gable shape or even edit profile the shape of wall. Attached a revit file for your reference.

Welcome to the community!

I am not sure if this article (and the two linked subarticles) in the Revit 2016 Help are the equivalent to the previous link, but it may be a starting point for you.
