Creating a toposurface from an Excell Spreadsheet

Hi

I have an Excell spreadsheet with X,Y, and Z coordinates.

I wish to import it into Revit and create a Topo surface from the spreadsheet. Is this possible and if so how do i go about it.

Many Thanks

Barry

try this:

  1. Export from Excel to .csv : Save as > choose .csv (Comma delimited
  2. In Revit > Massing and Site > Toposurface > Create from Import> Specify Points File >Open - select the file saved from Excel..

Hi,

I have attached an extract from my training material on this topic.

There are some administrative issues but the functions are correct.

Hope that helps.
