Creating a Gross Building Area to export an ADSK file
I am having an issue when trying to export a 3D view to an ADSK file. It prompts me to create a Gross Building Area to use as the Building Footprint. I then create a gross building area plan using Level 1 (Ground Level).
I try again to export the 3D view to an ADSK file and it repeats the same prompt for the Gross Building Area. It never allows me to export.
I was having the same issue, but then I clicked "yes" when asked if I wanted to create a new area plan. This seemed to work for me. Revit help has a decent section on exporting ADSK files.
