Copying a Level

Hi fellow revit users... I just noticed that whenever I copy a level, it doesnt appear in the plan. Only the elevation mark can be copied. Before in 5.1 i can make it but in release 6.0-7.0 its no longer supported. And if you'll notice, the elevation mark is black, meaning inactive. The active one is blue. I want to apply this feature to copy a typical floors with typical components etc. Pls help : (

I assume by "in the plan" you mean in the list of plans in the browser. If you draw a level - it will by default create a new plan view in the browser. If you copy a level line it does not automatically create a new view in the browser. If you have a level line that does not have a view associated with it - simply go to View->New->Floor Plan and select the views you want. This feature allows you to have level lines with or without a view. It helps keep the browser less cluttered and free of level lines like Top of Steel. Jst. Brg, etc. You also have the option of not making a view when you draw a level line. Simply uncheck the "Make Plan View" box.
