Comparing Revit Building 9.1 to Revit LT 2013

I have been using Revit Building 9.1 for years but it doesn't agree with my new Windows 7 64 bit computer.  I am looking at Revit LT 2013.  How for their features compare?

LT is going to have less features and limitation from the full blown revit package

here is a table comparing the 2: http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Revit_LT/enu/2013/Help/0000-What_Is_0

will it still allow me to make custom walls, custom family (windows, door, etc)?  Play with the topography, creat solor studies?  make winding stairs.

Reading this list I think the currect revit makes mine look this lt anyways.  I don't want to hamstring myself but there is no sence paying for features I will never use

Ya I downloaded it just a bit ago.  It has a new learnigng curve.  It wouldn't open my files but it says it's because they were prior to 8.1 but I'm running 9.1 any grand ideas what I can do?  If I'm going to do this I'd really like my old files to open!

Best thing would be to talk specifics with your reseller.
