Cloud Render issue from Revit Archtecture 2014

Hi,

I've been having an issue rendering in cloud from a Revit 2014 file. I have an number of linked files within the Revit project, Structural and Architectural etc. In the model space the linked structural file is located within the architectural file, however as soon as I render the image it jumpes outside of it. Parts of the Architectural model seem to explode as well.

I've seen a couple of other people have similar issuse on other feeds and I was wondering if anyone could help me resolve the problem please!

Here is the 3D of the building before Rendering...Untitled.png

...and here is the Rendered imageSite_08.rvt_2014-Apr-24_10-58-54AM-000_3D_View_3.png

You can see how the alignment of the elements completely changes and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with location points or is a co-ordination issue with the linked files.

Regards,

Marcus

Hi, Seems it is a section box related issue. I'd like to get back to you later after checking with our engineers. Thanks, Jacky

Hi Marcus,

This is an issue that was addressed by Update Release 2 for Revit 2014. Can you check that the update is correctly applied to your installation?

To verify that Update Release 2 for Revit 2014 is installed: This can be done by going to Help > About and in the upper right hand corner, it should say Update Release 2. If it does not, please download and install the appropriate Update Release 2 from the page below:

http://revitclinic.typepad.com/my_weblog/2013/11/update-release-2-for-revit-2014.html

If after having applied Update Release 2 the issue is still not resolved, check to make sure that the host and linked projects share the same coordinate system. This can be done by publishing the coordinates of the host file to the linked files.

The following section of the help has more info on this:

http://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2014/ENU/?guid=GUID-92EB55C8-A5C3-46C9-90F1-50E4FAD1548C

Hope this helps.
