Can Revit rum at Intel Pentium CPU

I want to upgrade my computer with Intel Pentium CPU for faster performance. Do Revit can support it?

Thanks.
I use P 4 now. But my reseller said that P D can give more good performance? I want to confirm that the P D can use or not before upgrade.

A dual core chip is similar to a real dual processor system, so you will
see a big performance improvement with rendering, but revit itself is
not multi-threaded so, aside for multitasking improvments, performace
gain will be limited to a differece of the gzh of the cpu.

If I were you I would go with the 64bit Athlon X2, those daul core chips
are absolute screamers.
