Attach Top/Base

Hi,

I am a student of architecture, and have been using Revit Architecture for just under 6 months.  In a recent project of mine, I have a ramp which serves 2 functions;

  1. As a ramp from level 0 to level 1
  2. as a roof

I cannot seem to get Revit to connect the tops of the walls under the ramp to the base (of the ramp).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you be more spefic? Why don't you make just a roof and attach the walls to it?

Maybe you have a certain shape that creates you problems...can you make a printscreen and post it ?

I'm not sure whether I can make a roof to replace the ramp.

Attached are screen shots of the project.

Now I understand you...You want to have the advantage of  the railings so you choose to use Ramp function...

In this case, I suggest  to use a workaround:

  • first make a ramp with railing
  • then, a mass element : In Place Mass
  • and finally wall by face...

as shown in my screen recording:
