revit 2012. My materials from the revit library have an exclamation point on them in the property set preview and show up grey in the appearance preview. I pathed the revit material folder as well as our company folder in "Options", "render". I can create a default material and select any image I want and it works, but Autodesk library materials just wont work.
I was able to fix this by going to the control panel, add and remove programs. Click on each (4) of the revit material libraries and you will see "click here for support information". click that and do a "repair". I restarted my computer and my materials work fine now.
