taking ownership of workshared element

Does anyone know how to take ownership of a workshared element from within a macro?

I found the "Edited_by" builtinparameter but it is a read-only parameter.

Revit API cannot change the "Edited by" parameter. Normally if the parameter value cannot be changed via the Revit UI, the value cannot be changed via API.
