"System Data" element

What is an element named System Data?

I find a lot of this element of Autodesk.Revit.DB.Element type in every project.

They seem empty, no parameters, no level, no phase, ...nothing.
Any idea?

dear michele,

i never noticed that ... sounds like Revit MEP to me ... could these be referring to MEP systems?

i would suggest starting a new project, using RevitLookup to check whether there are any such elements in there, hopefully no, then adding a new MEP system, checking again, and hopefully seeing one appear now.

Hi Jeremy,

I've found these element in a RAC project, not in MEP. They are present also in new projects.

Some of these System Data elements are close to phase-type elements and have consecutive IDs.
