Reverting to blank parameter value possible in API?

A project or shared parameter of an element, when newly created, initially has no value even if it is a double or an integer. But once we set values to them, we are not able to return to their initial no value state. Especially for number parameters, we must set a value into them.

This becomes an issue when they are shown in schedules. The parameter of a newly created element in the schedule gives a null value, which is better when we don't want to set anything there. But once it has a value and we want to set it to nothing again, it is impossible to re-initialize since Revit asks to insert a value from that time on.

I am aware that this is an issue of Revit itself, but is this possible to set nothing to number parameters at least in the API?

Hi,

Unfortunately I don't believe this is possible, the Parameter.Set method aways expect a value...
