Display a View with API

Is it possible to display a view in the browser with the API? Perhaps I'm overlooking something really obvious.

I'm building a tool to help find certain hidden AutoCAD Imports within views. Works great. I can find the imports, which views they are on, and their visibility. Now, I'd would like to allow the user to open that view and reveal the location of the hidden import. So far, I've been un-hiding the imports, and then using Document.ShowElements(import), but then Revit will go through all of the views searching for an appropriate view to display, when I already know the view its on. If I could open the view first, and then call Document.ShowElements(import), it would be MUCH faster. 🙂

Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Jimmie
