Apple Mac instead of IPad as remote computer

I see the IPad app, but I'm wondering if I can use my Macbook as the remote computer, connecting to my PC running ACAD.  Is this application in progress?  Can I use the App on my Macbook?

At the moment the Remote application is not available for the Mac OS

it was written for windows 7 & 8 only

Autodesk® Remote is a stand-alone application for Microsoft Window 7 and 8 and is compatible with all Autodesk products.
