I have a regestered set of data that when I use the update origin tool the z axis does not change correctly. I select an origin point and then select the floor as my z-axis plane. I then select a wall to set my x-axis. The x and y axis seem to move correctly, but the floor of the data set is sloping significantly from one side of the building to the other. I have tried selected several different areas of both floors and ceilings and the data is always still sloping. Anyone else having similar issues?
Ran into this just this morning (2 years later). Was there ever a resolution to this? We need to be able to manipulate the origin more than just selecting planes in the scan.
