Fix camera and move object

Is it possible to use the ReCap engine to fix the camera and rotate the object?

As I'm trying to generate a mesh for my own head,  it would save me requiring an extra person to take photos.

I could just set the camera up to take new shot every 10 seconds,  draw some dots on my face which I will use for manually creating Stich points, and revolve round in an office chair at 10° increments.

Maybe an additional shot comprising just the background.

My guess is that it would take a different engine to process such input data, but as I don't know how the underlying engine works, I'm not sure.

Can anyone tell me whether this approach would work?

Potential problems would be that the object is moving while the background remains constant, and if the environmental light is not uniform from all directions then for example the nose may be well lit in one shot and badly lit in another.

There are very low chances of this, but you may try.

Make sure that the background is as pale, without any details as possible and give it a go.

I have succeeded with this technique on object, resulting in full 360 models.

If you try this, please let us know of the results.
