Hi David,

Welcome to our forums,

Are you trying to extract orthographic images from the scan panoramas?

This is still not possible, but you can toggle on orthographic mode in 3D view.

To set up the view accordingly I would first update the origin, the x,y,z - in display > “update origin”, so the axis are nicely aligned to the faces of the model.

Then by clicking on "Perspective" you will toggle off that mode and enter Ortho.

With few simple edits of the point cloud, or by using the limit box you can get nice sections, elevations and floor plans of your model.

That's cool.  I can see that being useful to generate texture maps from the point cloud to use in a 3D model.

Hello there!.

I am trying to found the right workflow to generate a kind of report of the terrain with the photos taken from my drone. What I want to do is to generate the images that are shown in the minute 1:31 of this video:

After taking the photos, how can I generate this?, what is the correct workflow?. Until now I have been able of generating the 3D model from photos.
