Quick Cad Release 7 - Disappearing symbols (and Windows XP)

Earlier I hardly had any problems with Quick Cad, but more often I'm dealing with a very strange problem.

Inofec sells office furniture and for our customers we've made our own library to draw complete maps with our furniture in it. Some of the symbols out of the library are combinations of different segments. When they are placed in a document, they can be edited, rotated, you name it! (they can be seen as well..) Then I save the document and I open it again, the symbols are GONE. Nowhere to be found! And if I place the same symbols again, and save the file, they are gone again, while other symbols just stay on their place.
Note: Only some of the symbols disappear and I can’t figure out in what form they are different from the other symbols. And since last month I'm using Windows XP together with Quick Cad 7.

Does anyone have a clue how this problem can be solved? Please help..
Thanks,
Martijn

Have you checked somewhere on the ADesk web-site to
see whether QC7 is compatible with Windows XP...???

Check the layers... those dissapearing symbols are
probably in a masked layer.
