I'm an engineer in Florida that has been using quickcad from the drafix
days. I have literllay thousands of files now in quickcad 6 format. all
files, when opened in quickcad 7, have the wrong fonts. even substitues
don't fit into their required spaces.
I understand version 7 does not include the CAD fonts. How can this be
called an upgrade software if it is no longer compatable with my life's
work. What do I do? I can continue using version 6 but anyone else who
buys version 7 and sends me a file will not work. Not even a "save as ver
6" in ver 7. I have to save as DWG then inport in ver 6.
This problem is worthy of a major complaint to Autodesk.
Any suggestions or help getting fonts loaded is not only greatly
appreciated, but is critical to my career. Thanks!

I have recently experianced the same problem. One of the guys in our office upgraded from qcad 6 to 7 and we were unable to open his drawings at the office. SOOOOO,I go pick up a copy of the new qcad 8 and they opened just fine. But all our old drawings are now toast. Have you found a solution to the problem?
