    Learning to use QuickCad

I have had this program for a while and have gone through the process of
loading it, checking many times that everything was okay, the tutorials just
do not give me enough information! I am a tool and diemaker, and have
technical drawing experience, just not that great on the computer-yet!
    Yours Thankfully, S J.Hodge.

    Hiya, Stacey.

I'm typing up a little document to get you started. I will have it finished
tomorrow morning and I'll send it directly to you as an attachment to an email.
It will contain some initial information about getting started, and a few tips
that I've found useful. It won't be a manual by any means, just some words to
get you off the mark. For now, I would suggest that you order Paul Jackson's
book, "Hands On A House" which you can get from
    http://www.resolv.com.au/building_industry/order_form.shtml and wait till you
get my post to you. I can't put it here in the newsgroup because it's just too
    much.

Be a little patient and after you practice a bit you'll be asking hard questions
that I won't be able to answer anymore.

A reminder that you can always post zipped files to the newsgroup
    news://adesknews.autodesk.com/autodesk.autocad.customer-files. If
future users want your file it saves you emailing it and it will
    be available to more people.

I felt under these circumstances it would be best to email directly. Read his
    post again.

If others are interested, they can post a request here and THEN I will put the
document in the customer files area. Otherwise I think it will be of minimal
    interest.

Hi, Although I'm coming to this party late, I would none the less be grateful for a copy of the Getting Started file you developed. I looked all over customer files and couldn't find it, so an email attachment would great. Thank you, Nana

Nana, Email me, I'll respond with the file. Remember, it's for a beginner. This isn't a file that teaches you everything you need to know. Rather, it just "gets you started" like the title implies. You will need "Hands On A House," by Paul Jackson. Go to http://www.resolv.com.au/ and order it.
