    Formatting >1 dimension

Can two or more dimension labels be reformatted at once? Primarily I'm
interested in changing the font size in a "current view," by which I mean to
say just the part of the drawing that is onscreen, for printing.

I have used the Painter as a shortcut for doing the dimension labels one at
    a time, but sometimes this doesn't work--and I can't understand why.
Certainly my drawing is probably pretty messy by now, from the point of view
of the electrons which do and don't comprise it, making such inconsistencies
in program performance more likely. But maybe there's a reason closer to
    direct experience...human, that is.
    Please use plain text.

    Brian.

You can format any number of dimensions simultaneously.

Hold the [Shift] key as you're selecting them. Right-click on the total series
of dimensions and choose "Entities". All the dimensions can be formatted at once
    from there.

You can do the same thing with Text. If two or more text blocks are selected,
you can again Right-click and choose "Entities". There are fewer options
available, but some things can be reformatted.

Thank you Harvey for directing me to the Edit Entities feature to format
    multiple dimensions.

Now I have discovered a new feature, however, which I did not actually want:
instead of my dimensions showing as, say, 8' 3" or 8' 3-1/2", I now see
8'+3" and 8' 3-+1/2". The plus sign is in a much smaller size than the
other characters. It appears in at least two separate drawings, and in a
new drawing created to see if new dimensions were also affected.

I haven't done a lot of work other than trying out some different scale,
grid, and appearance options. What do you suppose I may have done here?
    B.

    Hi, Brian.

I'll be (EDITED) if I can duplicate THAT! Something might be corrupted with your
    system somewhere.

You might want to uninstall and reinstall the program. Make sure nothing is
running on the task bar and disable the virus program during the installation.

That's all I can think of, sorry. Maybe someone that's had this experience will
    come up with something else.
