Extend Command in QuickCad 7

How does one extend a line and still have a single entity?

Pretty steep learning curve here even for experts in Acad ver 10.

One way is to select the line and start dragging one of the handles in the
direction you wish to extend it. You can then type R while dragging and
enter the Relative X,Y for the new endpoint.

Another way is to select the line and edit the length in the edit bar.

Another way is to use the Edit - Trim - Edge tool to extend the line to an
existing entity.

I've tried to use Acad. If you're an expert in R10, you have my complete
admiration. I couldn't even become a beginner.
