I am working with Win2k version of Corel 9 CDR format and trying to convert to a DXF to be used in QuickCAD 8, and Corel does the conversion. But, say I draw a circle in Corel and I get one continuous line, conversion to DXF yields about 500 something points all arranged in a circle. This makes it difficult to use certain machines like a waterJet or laser cutter because they want to cut every single point. Question: How can I use an existing drawing from Corel and convert it to DXF for use in QuickCAD and have my lines continuous? Is there something I need to do in AutoCAD to adjust or complete the lines after conversion, or is there a converter out there that will achieve my goal?
