I've just completed installing QC v7 for the fifth time in the last two
days! Everytime I try to start the program from the (program files) list, I
get an error "a required .DLL file, ACGE15.DLL was not found"--Thus the
program will not start. I located the ACGE15.DLL file in the Program
files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared directory but it seems the .EXE file is
not pointing to where it was installed during the install program. Is there
a patch or something to help me out?

Rick. Here's two tips you might want to consider. No guarantee's, though.
1. Try uninstalling and reinstalling again for the sixth time, but make sure you
close any virus
protection programs first. You can use [Ctrl]+[Alt] and TAP [Delete]. Close
everything you recognize.
2. Try turning down the graphics acceleration (ugh, gasp, choke, sputter). Find
it from Start>Settings>ControlPanel>Systems>Performance>Gr aphics button. Try a
notch or two at first. Restart and then load the application. Paul seems to
think this can
help. But be aware that it will affect all your programs. Things run slower.
Sorry about those. Probably worth a try.

Try adding c:\progra~1\common~1\autode~1 to the path statement in the
Autoexec.bat file and restart the system.
