Assumptions Used in Project Falcon

Can someone help me out with what the physics are behind the Project Falcon fluid flow simulation?

 

All I know is that it is a transient, incompressible fluid flow solver and LES turbulence model.  I am currently in the middle of a vortex induced motion analysis, modeling the effectiveness of strakes on a spar oil platform. In order to help validate the results I am seeing, I would really like to understand how Project Falcon works and what assumptions are involved.

I think the validation doc is the only thing we share publicly.
