**** i was excited about this, then I read the supported applications..... :-( I know you can't do everything at once, but maunfacturing would love a crack at this as well, not just AEC [GRIN]

Do you have plans for Inventor Integration in the near future?

    Cheers

Thanks for the feedback. We are hoping to have wider product adoption in the future, including Inventor, but unfortunately I cant put a timeframe on it at this point.

    Thanks.

I want to second Scott's comment. It seems that Inventor doesn't get much love. There isn't all that much good training to be found on the internet. A program like this could open up a lot more users to post helpful tips that you will almost never find anywhere until you start chatting people up at AU.

I agree completely with the previous comments. Inventor seems woefully short on adequate instruction and I for one would love to see this available for IV users, with a large array of videos of course. Also I feel I at least have something to contribute and would be more than willing to upload any tips/tricks that I know.

I'd also like to say, please either improve the current IV wiki help or go back to the previous help interface. The wiki thing is really difficult to find the help I need.

Thanks for any help in advance

Thats a little bit tough on Autodesk & the community. There's literally hundreds of resources for Inventor instruction. Autodesk blogs, customer blogs, reseller blogs, the wiki (which I agree with you on), youtube, 3rd party tutorial/learning sites. Then there are all the forums out there, AUGI, here & MCAD forums etc.. Oh and whitepapers etc on the Autodesk.com knowledge base page. I think they are doing a pretty good job, albeit they/we can always do better.

Maybe that's a little rough but the wiki thing really hinders me at times and not only me but several of the people I work with. As far as the other resources maybe a central categorized location with links, youtube, whitepapers, etc

All the content is in the Wiki and the concept is sound. However, the organisation sucks including the links from Inventor to it only takes you to the parent category. So you have to drill down to find the information, that sucks if you are looking for help on trying to understand something... you don't know what to look for.

I know Autodesk are aware of it though which is half the battle :-)

The wiki does have a centralized repository for community content
