If Basejump moves beyond a preview it would be very useful to have control over the typical Bing Maps image switch at certain zoom levels. (Image Switch at Zoom Level video - http://screencast.com/t/jXoJGEiRTg )
Having knowledge of the image switch zoom level trigger point would be also useful. As well as being able to identify the imagery that is hiding in the background.
While exploring the Basejump/ Map3D functionallity I discovered an image display vs. plot result issue related to the zoom level image switch issue.
Plotting Issue - See attached files:
The png file is a screen capture of what imagery was displaying during the plot process, including plot preview.
The pdf file is the plotted image suffering from image switch.
Tried to post a dwf but the file size is too large,2.5mb. The maximum file size is: 1,572,864 bytes
I am well aware the Bing Maps has this image switch feature but in this case I had not zoomed in enough to trigger the switch, it appeared unexpectedly in the final product of the plot.
Basejump has great potential please consider keeping it and making it a feature of Map3D and Civil 3D not part of a suite.
