How do I remove autodesk educational banner, I have had my autocad for many years and purchased a new computer and when I installed the autocad disk, every time it opens a file it states Educational plot stamp detected, do you wish to contiune. then every time you print it the banner is printed on all four sides of the drawing. How do I get rid of this. I have removed Autocad, deleted all the files, folders and words, I have rebooted, shut down and reinstalled and again it does the same thing. WHAT AM I MISSING.
Thanks for your help in advance

are you using a registered commercial version of AutoCAD or and EDU version of AutoCAD?
if you are using a commercial version and you open the DWG files and it gives you the EDU warning it implies that someone has opened and saved that file with an EDU version of AutoCAD or copied / referenced data into those files from an EDU file.
open file with commercial version of AutoCAD
create new dwg file using your clean template file
open new dwg file
dxfin (dxf file created above)
I have a commerical auto cad cd, as I stated I have used it for the last 4 years with no problems. I just changed my computer and then added autocad and this came up. I have uninstalled it three times, searched out any hidden files and deleted them. I also borrowed a friend's Autocad in which he uses it everyday as he is a desiginer and the same thime happen to it. I removed it and tried my agian the same thing happens. It;s like there is a virus of this banner some were that I can not delte. Your help greatly appericated.
so you are now getting the banner on all files? even newly created files?
thats odd its almost as if your AutoCAD has suddenly become an educational version.
i presume you are registering it correctly?......but even if you do not register it correctly it usually just reverts to a 30 day trial license not an edu
I have the same problem with the banner of autodesk on 4 sides of the print out. I am using AutoCAD 2010, student version. How can I remove it because it looks like a mess when I turn my assignment in to the teacher.
