Hi there
My company has a Xerox 510 & latest controller, (controller just purchased), with the latest available firmware (version 14). We are using Autocad 2009 & pdf995 to make pdf's.
The issue we have is when printing to the Xerox using Acrobat reader or directly from Autocad the prints are perfect but when we submit pdf's to the Xerox using Accxes tools the prints come out darker overall, that is, the fine lines arent so fine anymore.
Xerox has told us that there is no fix as printing from Acrobat uses the software postscript interpreter and printing from Accxes tools uses the hardware postscript interpreter on the controller. (the postscript hardware interpreter is purchased as an option, and supports pdf 1.7).
We would like a fix if possible as we email the pdfs around to other clients and if they submit the files to their Xerox using accxes tools they will have the same issue.
We are going to try making pdfs with Acrobat pro in the meantime but any further information would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading.

If PDFs print perfectly both directly from AutoCAD & pdf995 then the problem
is withe the Xerox 510 controller.
We have a Xerox 6204 with latest controller as well. But we have no
problems submiting PDFs to the plotter.
The quality is not any darker than printing directly.
