Xerox 8830 - Only Admins can plot

For some reason, only Administrators can plot to the 8830 on our Win2000
server. I have check the permissions, and everyone should be able to plot.
WHen a user sends a plot to the queue, it has a status of Error - plotting.
If I try to plot a test page (from win2000 print manager), it shows the same
error message... 72bytes/56.1 K. It's not machine specific either. If I
log in as a user on my machine, I get the error. If I login as Admin (or w.
my admin rights) everythings is fine. Same if I go to a user's machine.
They get the message, but when Logged in as myself, all is OK.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Does Power user level in Win2000 allow printing/plotting as well as Admin?

Actually.. from what I have found it is only the domain's Administrators
group that allows the users to print. Local Administrators/Power Users
don't have the rights.

We have a client that has the same problem. Did you find a way to give
print rights to those users without giving them Domain Admin rights?

Is this what you are looking for?

Log in as Admin, go to printers folder, right click on the plotter, choose
properties then security tab, select user level (standard, power user ..)
set the options to enable Print, Manage Prints, Manage Documents.
