I did a search, but it seemed the most recent "poll" was from 2009. So what are folks using today? We have an Oce TDS700 with color scanner that is coming off lease in a couple months and I need to start looking for something new. I am curious what other are using and whether they would recommend it or not recommend it. If you know of a recent, simialr thread somewhwere else, please feel free to share that as well!
A few things to note:
Thanks for any help!
HP has an engineering inkjet plotter that they tout as being fast like a toner/laser plotter, but lower cost. Look up the T7100.
Now that Xerox has left the wide format market we are left with Oce, Kip, HP and Ricoh as the main players. They all have several different models with varying capabilities and costs. You should make a list of the capabilities that are most important to you then see which model comes closest to filling the needs. I don't think there is a must have plotter that everyone is clamoring for.
My boss has the opportunity for a OCE350 at half price as it is the demo model.
Does anyone have any feedback?
