Rotated Plots

Recently upgraded from LT2011 to LT2014.

Our plotter is a Ricoh Aficio MP W3601 with 36" rolls.

One of our clients requires prints on a non-standard size sheet (22" x 36").

We have no problem plotting from LT2011, however using the same PC3 file in LT2014 the plot rotates 90 degrees.

If we make a pdf from LT2014 and then print the pdf it plots correctly.

Is the problem with AutoCAD or Ricoh?

P.S. Had the plotter rep in and he updated some drivers but didn't fix the issue and was not "fluent" with AutoCAD plotting issues.

One test you could do is, setup the Acad Lt plot window so that the orientation is what you expect it to be, ie; "Landscape" or "Portrait".  If Lt is like reg Acad, that option is usually foiund in the lower right corner of the plot window *after* you expand the plot window by clicking the little round button in the lower right corner of the plot window.

Then, after you select that plotter from the Printer/plotter list, go into the properties of that plotter and set the orientation to the opposite of what you are expecting.

I've seen this type of issue a few times at different companies and there are some posts on the net about it.  At a single location for example, most people can plot from Acad having the orientation set specifically to what they need in both Acad and the plotter preferences and the plots come out correct.  Then there was one or two people at the same location where for some odd reason they had to have the orientation set one way in the plotter preferences and have the oreintation setup just the opposite within the Acad plot window in order to plot correctly.
