Plotting to 36" roll on HP DesignJet 800

When I attempt to plot to a 36" roll of paper on HP DesignJet 800 (with 42-inch spindle, mind), I am not offered this width of paper in the AutoCAD plot options.  When I attempt to insert a custom size of paper, I receive the message shown in the attached .JPG.  Does anyone have any ideas how I might print to 36" x 54"?

Many thanks!

the HP800 came in a 24" and a 42" version, and drivers: did you by chance install the 24" driver instead of the 42" driver?
