Plotting problem

Hi,

We are using Hp Designjet T 790 plotter and OS windows 7, Core i5 processor, 4gb ram  and Autocad 2013.

When i plot and select the plotter and then properties and then if i click custom properties the systems gets hang, then i have to turn off the computer directly and again i have switch on.

PLease help me to solve this problem

Welcome to the community,

1. Do you have all the latest service packs installed for your AutoCAD?
2. Do you have the latest plotter drivers installed?
3. Do you have all the windows updates installed?

Hi,

Thank fot the  reply, I have already updated windows 7 and installed service pack 2 for Autocad 2013, but plotter driver i have installed from the CD not updated through web site.

The problem is only when i select plot device >then properties and then Custom properties sometimes autocad freezes and i ant even close the Autocad or other program then i have switch off directly.

Is the plotter directly connected to your computer, or is it a shared, network plotter?
