Hi there,
I am plotting a plan in layout.
I'm using an orthophoto in background for the project, autocad seem to be working in backgroudn.
I leave autocad to do its task of plotting but wait more then 20 minutes before cancelling the plotting job.
Anyone know a trick of the trade to plot large images ?

Hi there,
I'm plotting to PDF.
I usually use PDF Creator, but now i'm using Adobe Acrobat.
I went into the propreties of Adobe Acrobat to lower the DPI to 300 and setted the one on Autocad to 300 (instead of the 600 that was setted).
I left the computer to work all night to see if it could finish the PDF (give it sometime).
It did, but the viewport with the background image didnt came out at all.
Now i don't know what to do.
Maybe gona give it a try with PDF Creator tonight after i leave work.
Good news ladies and gentlemen.
Yesterday before leaving i tryed modifying the setting of rasterthreshold and rasterpercent but didn't work at all when i arrived this morning.
Decided to go basic on this problem and try DWG TO PDF plotter.
The PDF was made in less then 30 seconds !!!!!!
So it worked for me.
Conclusion : Sometimes it's good to go with basic stuff before trying to go big.
Thanxs for the help pendean ! 😃
