PC3 and PMP Files In AutoCAD 2014 vs AutoCAD 2015

There must have been changes to the way 2015 reads PMP files.  Many years ago I created several PC3 files with paper sizes filtered out. Each PC3 file has one paper size. I keep separate support folders for each version of AutoCAD on our server.

As an example:  Using 2014 my 11x17.pc3 shows one paper size of 11x17 as it should.  The same PC3 file (copied to a different folder along with the PMP files) in 2015 shows 3 paper sizes of Double Japan Postcard Rotated, A2, and 11x17.

Just noticing that all of my PC3 files are showing 3 paper sizes instead of one.  The two devices used are HP9040 and Xerox 6204.  Both are network printers.  Each of the PC3 files that point to the HP device show Double Japan Postcard Rotated and A2 as additional paper sizes.  Each of the PC3 files that point to the Xerox device show ISO-B4 (250x353mm) and A2 as additional paper sizes.

Why do the same PC3/PMP files show differently in 2014 vs 2015?  Has anyone else experienced this issue?

No, I have not got that far with 2015 yet, but thanks for the heads up. I'll keep an eye out for this.

What printer(s) are you using?  Also, what extra paper sizes are showing up for you?

Just trying to isolate the issue.

Please explain what you mean.

If I modify the device driver path in the options dialog to include "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2014\drv" before "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2015\drv" I still have the same issue.  So it appears that using the drivers from AutoCAD 2014 doesn't change the behavior.

There are issues with HP printer/plotter drivers with 2015 and Win8/8.1: it does not affect lower AutoCAD versions or Win7.
Is that your configuration/setup?

In that case, look at two other threads in this same forum talking about the designjet 500 and T520: a workaround with the drivers may work for you too in Win8/8.1.

Also, report this problem to Autodesk:
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?id=1073063&siteID=123112
and if you are on subscription, do so there too please.
